Hey there. Let me open up about my journey. A while back, life threw a tough curveball my way – a street assault that left a lasting impact. About six months later, I found myself contending with drug-induced psychosis, a challenge that persisted throughout much of my adulthood. On top of that, I had a family to support, making it feel like I was juggling a heavy load.

In the midst of that chaos, I discovered a reservoir of strength and determination within myself. Navigating schizophrenia was no easy feat, especially with family responsibilities, but the love and support around me helped me persevere. Fast forward, and I’ve been in the clear for over a decade.
Here’s the extra twist – I entered the workforce while still dealing with these challenges. Moreover, I decided to pursue further education, realizing I never completed year 12. The incident occurred when I was just 16, and it led me to experience a myriad of struggles that to this day still haunt me.
Why am I sharing this? Because I vividly recall yearning for someone who understood me during those tough times. Now, I want to be that understanding presence for you.
